Contest: Fun Fest Passes!

It’s that time of year again, Fun x 3 Fest is just one short week away. The lineup is great as usual, ticket prices are still fairly low, and the weather is looking like it’s going to be even better than ACL festival!  To celebrate this wonderful time of year, we here at ATH have been given the awesome opportunity to give 1 very lucky person a Fun Fest pass with +1.  So in other words, one person will win two passes to Fun Fun Fun Fest next weekend.  Now last year we seriously made this too easy on you guys and we’d like to make things a bit more fun for everyone involved this time around.  Can you say PHOTO SCAVENGER HUNT! To compete in our outtasite contest, you’ll need to follow the jump for full details.

Contest rules are relatively simple.  Please follow these guidelines:

• Complete the following list with creative pictures making sure contestant (you) is in each one.
• When done, upload your pictures to flickr and label your set “ATH Fun Fest Contest – 2010”
• Please please please only upload ONE photo for each clue.
• Copy the link to your flickr contest set and paste it into our Fun Fest contest post here remembering to leave a VALID email address
• That’s it!

CLZUES:

1. Photo in front of your favorite transmission run venue
   1. Red 7, Mohawk, Club Deville, etc. etc.
2. Photo in front of your favorite record store with an album you just bought
3. Photo in your favorite bar with a group of people holding up a piece of paper that says “Fun Fest 2010!!!!”
4. Photo of you and your favorite Austin meal
5. Cheesiest Photo in front of your favorite famous Austin landmark
6. Photo of yourself doing something craaaaazzzzzayyyy at your favorite local park
7. Photo of You and your friend(s) posing for your best band promo shot (See here, here, or here)
8. Choose your own adventure!  Seriously… This is the “Wild Card” shot.  Do anything!  (make us laugh, cry, scream, whatever!)

Copying, pasting and printing out might not be a bad idea fools.

Creativity in your photos will most definitely get you bonus points so think outside the box.  We’ll also give you double super secret bonus points if your photos have a theme since it is Halloween weekend and all. 

*All entries must be in by Tuesday (Nov. 2^nd) @ 3pm.  We’ll email our winners with instructions on how to claim their prize at that time.  You can also expect a fun post with the the best award winning photos.
