Contest: St. Vincent @ ACL Live (10/24)
It’s contest time kids! It seems like forever since we’ve had ourselves a ticket contest and I’m pumped that our first one in a long time is for St. Vincent tickets. So I’ll cut the crap and give you some contest deets:
Rules: Leave a comment below with why you should win and we’ll pick winners with the best answer.
Prize: 2 tickets to the St. Vincent show at ACL live on Monday the 24th. We will pick TWO winners who will each receive ONE ticket.
Timeline: We’ll pick our winners and email them sometime this weekend.

I should definitely win one of these tickets because I’m at all the ATH events, especially the Council Meetings. I might even make it worth your while at tonight’s meeting too. And who doesn’t LOVE St. Vincent?! Oh, and I also give a writer blowies….

This new album is amazing and though I loved Actor LP and Marry Me LP, I think St. Vincent’s performance with this new albums tunes will blow my face off.

As much as I want to pull the “I just got back from the ‘Stan” card…and St. Vincent is one my newest favorites…a roadtrip to Austin is just not in the budget. Great contest though and I still love ATH!!,

I really hope to win this contest because I can see one thing leading to another, suddenly we are friends and hanging out and oh! Annie decides to stay in Austin because she cannot bear the thought of leaving me and then we move in and are roommates and best friends and remember fondly the day when i went to her concert i could not afford and laugh haha isn’t life funny like that?

I’ve been waiting for Annie to come back to Austin for a few years now, and my job scheduled me to work tonight a month back. I was excited to get tickets, and had even set aside $20 for them, but I spent that when I realized I would have to work. Since then, I’ve been fired from that job, and don’t have enough to drop $20 on concert tickets, even for my favorite musicians. I’m a huge huge fan of hers, and I would love a ticket to tonight’s show because there are so many songs of hers that I would be ecstatic to hear live.

I would love to win the tickets because I am absolutely enamored by Annie Clark’s musical ability and the entire sound of St. Vincent. I love going to concerts more than anything in the world, and as a college student, I simply don’t have the spending money. Please consider me!
