White Birds + Night Panthers = Forever Evers

artworks-000059713214-yhesrz-t500x500We’ve actually written about both of these bands a ton, and honestly, I didn’t see such a collaboration coming our way.  That being said, I’m actually really pleased with the end result from Forever Evers; it’s a dreamy electro pop number that you’ll want to play for the rest of the day. There’s this stuttering electronic loop that remains central to the track, with the heavier beat really driving home the sensation. And the vocals are just what I’d expect from something that James Harvey is part of, which means it’s great.  We’ll keep you posted on a possible release.

  • really? you didn’t see such a collaboration coming? Fucking bloggers. How are you going to name drop James Harvey and not know that hey played with these dudes in Drink Up Buttercup? and the world gets dumber…

  • Yes, but typically when bands move on to other projects, especially ones that they’re currently pushing incredibly hard, like Night Panthers, you expect them to leave it be…so in regards to that, I figured they’d both take a break from one another while the other projects grew. I’ll do better in time to go back four years every time a band breaks up and make sure to research that they’re all still friends and open to creating new music together. And it’s only Farzad and James working on this, so not all those “dudes.”

  • Fucking readers. Guess we should enter into the minutia of every thought shared about each track to prevent weirdly-misdirected rage.

Good song. Didn’t see it coming, either…
