Minimalist Pop from Phoria

If you went out last night and have to work all day Friday, you’re likely in need of some recovery music to get you through the day. Phoria, a  Brighton quintet, has crafted these really subdued pieces of pop music, featuring whispering vocals and minute electronic details throughout.  It’s a pretty stark musical landscape that they’ve created, but I’m finding myself absorbed with each repeated play.  You’ll be able to find this tune on the band’s Display EP, which is seeing an international release on June 16th via X Novo. Should be a nice little listening trip.
