Easy Beach Rock From Modern Nomad

Modern Nomad is the project of Tom McLean, a youngster from Baltimore who I stumbled upon in one of my endless Bandcamp searches. This gentleman has already made a fair amount of tunes, but “Show Me How” has caught and held my attention. Something about this tune just screams beach to me, and I can imagine it playing in the background of a summer day where the sun is shining a bit brighter than usual. There’s the super jangly percussion, the high pitched backing vocals that pop up here and there, and of course McLean’s sunny vocals and crisp guitar riffs. Take a listen and get ready for Modern Nomad‘s new LP, Road Trip, which is out May 20th.
