Oklahoma boys Colourmusic will be playing a free instore at Waterloo Records this Thursday afternoon at 5pm. I guess you could call this a teaser for the band’s full blown set at Fun Fest this weekend. It’s also probably well known that we enjoy this band’s music and never miss their shows. The free beer Waterloo provides should make the decision to head out even easier.

Austin’s most rock ready band, …And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead, will be playing a free instore at End of an Ear Records in Austin on Wednesday. The free show is set to kick off at 5pm 6pm. Don’t fret if you can’t get off work in time, Trail of Dead is also part of this weekend’s Fun Fest.
Matador Records has a pretty sweet fall sampler you should download and enjoy. The free compilation features killer tracks from Shearwater, Lou Reed, Pavement, and some other fine artists.
