FT5: Best.Concert.Ever

1023top5coverWhat’s the best concert you’ve ever been to? For some of us it was the experience of enjoying a concert with a group of close friends. For others, it was catching your favorite bands before they hit it big or finally being able to see your music idol up close and personal. Today’s Top 5 is a collaborative one. Black And White Years @ Stubbs (7/18)

bwhiteyrsThe Black and White Years have slowly started to make a name for themselves as one of the biggest draws in our town.  Chances to see them in smaller venues in Austin may be hard to come by soon so head to the indoor stage at Stubbs Saturday night for a set by the rock n roll outfit.  We’re more excited for the show because our good friends Whitman will be providing the opening support for the evening and start around 10pm.  Tickets can be had now for $8 or $10 at the door.  Here’s that catchy single by B&WY, “Power to Change”.

The ACL Top Ten

We decided to take a different route in reviewing the events of ACL and we thought a Top 10 List would be the way to go.  This isn’t just a list of our favorite bands, rather a list of the best things, moments, memories or any other tasty randomness we could come up with that went down over the weekend.  We obviously would love to hear what else we maybe missed from our list.  This isn’t just our opinion, it’s what we heard from you good peoples that attended this year’s ACL.  List is after the jump.
