Brand New Track from Tourist Dollars

touristBeen giving a lot of love to the Melbourne area lately, so why pull back on that glorious city of good tunes and good vibes? Today we’ve got a new track from Tourist Dollars, and while they’ve got some sonic similarities to their local peers, they seem to be taking on a slightly different approach musically. There’s much more focus on melody, even with gentle whistling serving to fill in when necessary; it’s also a bit more relaxed in progression, allowing the band to maximize their pop efforts. This is our second chance to hear what’s coming from their forthcoming debut EP, slated for release later this year via Deaf Ambitions.

More To Love From Redspencer

11234063_971049419595087_4160870043313847555_oNathan beat me to the punch to share with you a track from Redspencer a few weeks back, but this time, the pleasure’s all mine. “Ride It Out” is a delightful pop track from these Australian gentlemen that is sure to ease you out of the long weekend, or at least ease the week woes a bit. The guitars on here are omnipresent and crisp, resounding with the most force in the track, yet are far from overpowering. Instead, they provide a blissful meandering feeling through the track, while the vocals and lyrics express the same kind of laid back, take-things-the-way-they come sentiment. With these two excellent tracks, you can bet I’ll have my eye out for the debut release from Redspencer sometime in June via Deaf Ambitions.

Spirited Single from Redspencer

redIt’s currently raining, or feigning thunderstorms, so I needed something to get me over the weather, and this Redspencer tune sounds like a pretty solid way to start it off. The guitars ring out brightly, and there’s a relaxed cool that comes in with the vocals.  These Aussie lads have been making ways overseas, and they look to have an impact here too with the release of their brand debut EP.  Deaf Ambitions will release it this coming June, brightening your listening habits just a little bit.
