One of Austin’s finest blues rock bands The Happen-Ins have another local show planned at Scoot Inn for Friday night.  Fellow local rockers Scorpion Child will share the stage for the night.  The venue site also has “guests” as listed for the bill, so who know what else is in store!?  Both of these bands can seriously bring it live.

A great local live band The Happen-Ins have another one of their anticipated shows planned for Emo’s Friday night.  Making the night more enticing, Parson Red Heads out of L.A. will be the main supporting act.  Also joining the two bands on the stage are Holly Rolling Empire and The Del-Vipers.  For only $6, you won’t want to miss out on this.

Pixel Pop @ Mohawk (7/16)

That crazy kid Adi is up to his tricks again with another sure to be packed show at The Mohawk this Friday evening.  Music wise, your entertainment is provided by The Happen-Ins, Candi & The Strangers, The Bubbles, and DJ uLOVEi.  You comic geeks out there can also expect something called a “comic book inspired fashion show”… sounds cool to me.  You’ll also see some double photo booth action, on site painting/drawing, and tons of other art work on display available for purchase.  I’m sure this will be the “it place” to be on Friday.  Check out that fancy poster for more info about sponsors and beneficiary HAAM.

Austin Sound’s Sound Advice Volume IV

A fairly new band in the Austin scene, The Happen-Ins, will be celebrating the release of their debut LP at Scoot Inn on Friday.  The lineup is filled out by some solid local talent and includes Nic Armstrong, A Giant Dog, and The Ripe.  This should be a great chance for you out of towners in for SXSW to see some of the best up and coming talent Austin has to offer.
