So a great show is going down at Emo’s on Friday night featuring veterans Hot Hot Heat, UK buzz band 22-20s and openers Hey Rosetta! To make the show even that much more enticing, the show is on the very intimate inside stage at Emo’s.  We’ve already been set up to be in attendance so we’ve got a couple tickets to give away.  Deets are real simple like: all you have to do is leave a comment below telling us why we should pick you.  That’s it!  Two lucky winners will be contacted on Thursday about their prize.  So get those entries in and check out a sweet track from 22-20s below in the mean time.

More New Music From Hot Hot Heat

Way back in November Hot Hot Heat announced that they were in fact still around and prepping a new album of dance floor ready hits.  Well now the band is ready to drop said LP, Future Breeds, next week on Dine Alone Records. Latest single from the upcoming album “Zero Results” shows even more promise of a grown up dance pop sound from Hot Hot Heat.

New Music From Hot Hot Heat

hhheatforwebThe guys in Hot Hot Heat have been relatively quiet since their 2007 release Happiness Ltd.  While I may be in the minority, I actually enjoyed several songs on that release and I’m excited to hear that the guys are back with new material for 2010.  So here’s a taste of that new material below with a song called “Future Breeds” which sees the band shedding a bit of their poppy/dancey sound we used to love.  Maybe the guys will mature a bit and find a new and more grown up sound.  Head over to SPIN for another new song and more details on the new year’s release.
