It’s that time of year again kids. You guessed it, it’s time for us to start prepping for everyone’s favorite good time in March… SXSW. As usual, we will be doing everything we can to get you people ready and prepped for the fun times ahead. As part of that plan, we’ll be giving you some interviews from here on out focusing on some bands we think you should be paying attention to during the festival. Today we kick of these interviews with one from Danish group Dinner. Project mastermind Anders Rhedin has given us the responses. Follow the jump for more.
As if you were thinking that we had no more interviews left… Silly you! We’ve got tons more coming your way and today I have a featured one from L.A. based, synth heavy group Habits. The brains behind the band, Dustin Krapes, was kind enough to offer his opinion on our pressing questions. Follow the jump to see what he has to say. Read more
If you haven’t listened to the latest album by Montreal’s Solids, then you’re definitely missing out. Anyone looking for a little rock n’ roll in their life should spend a little time with Blame Confusion…it’s only been out for a few weeks. We wanted to reach out to the band before they made their way into town for SXSW, and here’s what they had to say.
Have you had enough interviews yet!? I will assume the answer to that question is no and offer up yet another interview to preview the upcoming SXSW festival just a few short weeks away. Today we’ll be hearing from up and comers in the Nashville scene Gunther Doug. To be honest, I didn’t know a whole lot about the group prior to this interview, so it will be nice to learn a bit about them. Follow the jump to get your learn on. Read more

Painted Palms is a band that we’ve really gotten into over the last year with their upbeat, catchy singles that are continually ringing in our ears. To say we’re excited to see the group during SXSW would be a major understatement. We’re pumped. Founding father of the band Chris Prudhomme was kind enough to answer our burning questions and his responses can be found below.
It’s almost here people. That’s right, Fun Fest is just a mere 2 days away, and ATH is of course pumped for the weekend. As usual, we hit up a few bands prior to the fest to ask them a few questions about life. First up on the list is veteran act Quasi. Follow the jump for more.
So many interviews have gone down over the last few days, and this one here is for the continuously rising star, Oberhofer. For me, this is definitely one of the acts you’ve got to pay attention to this year; they’re definitely on my must see list! Here’s their answers to our questions, which, of course, has them missing their cats. Read on for the responses… Read more
K-Holes are one of the bands that you’re either going to love or hate, though I’d prefer if you loved them. Every time I listen to their single for their upcoming record, Dismania, I nostalgically wander back to the early days of Liars. We caught up with them via email before their trip to SXSW, and they threw some humor our way, which is always appreciated. Thanks Mr. Baxter for the interview hookup. Here’s answers from the band… Read more
Sorry that we’re just now getting this one finished, but it takes us awhile to recover from all the good times at Fun x 3 Fest. This last interview is with one of our favorite bands of 2011, Cloud Nothings. We were fortunate enough to catch up with the band, and ask them a bunch of random questions, as we’re wont to do. Hope it’s informative. And I’m sorry I look so fat on camera.
