The rain is really coming down here in the ATX, so it’s a good thing that our very own Adam Torres has got the perfect folk track for us to jam all through this rainy week. “Morning Rain,” the track you should already be listening to below, is a single off Torres’ upcoming album, Pearls To Swine, which is due out in a little less than a month. It’s a quiet little ditty, but if you listen closely, you’ll hear just how complex and textured this folk track is. Torres’ vocals are pushed to their limits, and he shows his impressive range via falsetto’d choruses. My favorite part of the track is the undercurrent of string sound, that adds a line of sorrow to the mix.
