Ain’t Nothing Wrong With A Little Sleek Indie Rock

10698454_841530082554442_5105872687075900313_nAre you bummed that Summer’s on its way out? Same. So lets channel some late summer vibes with Fort Lean, an outfit out of Brooklyn who’ve got some straightforward indie rock for you to enjoy. “Might’ve Misheard,” is a great rock number with a radio-ready and explosive chorus that’ll let you shake off the ever-relentless heat. The song starts off already at a simmer, building its way to that streamlined chorus. This number is taken from these gentlemen’s upcoming full length record, Quiet Day, which is out on October 2nd via Ooh La La Records. Take a listen and if you like it, preorder that record here.

Danceable Pop from Tropic of Pisces

tropicI think we’ve pretty much uploaded all the tracks from the Topic of Pisces Symmetry EP, but there’s one final installment to get you grooving towards your weeknd.  For me, this song is my favorite off the former Oberhoffer member’s new mini-album; it almost opens with that same groove as “Get Lucky.”  Say what you want, but we all occasionally feel the need to dance, and as summertime rolls around, lets hope there are plenty of spots you can throw down with your friends. The EP will be out on May 13th via Ooh La La Records.
