You know if you’ve been following our site that we loved the Blood Brothers, then moved on to loving Jaguar Love. Now we’ve got another family relative of Blood Brothers, this time from former lead singer Jordan.  His new group Past Lives isn’t quite in the same world as his former band, though their first single “Hex Takes Hold” did have some of the vocal memories.  This new one, however, slowly trods along, almost as if they are playing with some slo-core stylings.  You be the judge. And if you like it, grab Tapestry of Webs on February 23rd.

Seems like the old boys who used to make up The Blood Brothers are progressing nicely in their new bands.  What with Jaguar Love and now Past Lives both working on new material, I guess we’ll never see a reunion.  Oh well.  This new track from Past Lives (featuring 3 former BB members) will appear on a new album called Tapestry of Webs out Feb. 23rd via Suicide Squeeze.  It’s a little spastic, but it’s got a much better sound than that new track Johnny and Cody just dropped.  What’s your take?

Let’s face it, we all need a little hard rock in our lives from time to time, and no one is going to do a better job than The Bronx. Whether it be their high fueled live show or just the ballsy rock you dig, you’ll want to find yourself at this show on Saturday evening.  The evening’s set will take place at Red Seven and the doors are set to open at 8 PM.  Be sure to get plenty of fluids and rest, as you’ll need it for this show.
