Loops & Loops Share Hate Finds a Way

Man, I’ve been hyping Loops & Loops over the last few months with no shame at all, but this new tune really blows it all away. At times it feels like the sort of perfect guitar pop you’d get from a Dean Wareham penned tune, which I consider the highest form of praise. Then, hitting the chorus, you get a touch more direct pop punk punch, quickly driving the melody right to the ears. It’s a fuzzy little tune, hitting all the right notes as it goes through, and I’ll be honest, I can’t stop pressing play again and again. Give Loops & Loops a try, I beg you.

Loops & Loops Share Doesn’t Matter

A few weeks ago we ran a new track from Peter Bogolub’s project Loops & Loops, and now I’ve got another track you might enjoy today. This one has a similar guitar that creates this sort of openness, but instead of letting the song meander into the sonic landscape, Bogolub employs catchy beats on loop with handclaps to really pull on the listener’s need for fun. There’s a slight little speed pick up in the chorus that serves to give the song that perfect wrinkle that elevates it above a lot of other lo-fi bedroom pop of the moment…I mean, for me anyways.

Loops & Loops Share Everything Changes

Monday’s always seem perfect for reflection, for wistful longing after restful weekends. So, why not start our musical journey this week with this track from Loops & Loops seems to fit the typical case of the Mondays. As it opens, there’s a huge expanse, waiting to be filled by songwriter Peter Bogolub, who softens the track’s dreamy nature with his voice. When we turn to the chorus, we get to feel the noise of the week entering the picture by way of distorted walls of noise shattering the distance. All in all, we get to begin our week with the perfect amount of balance here, so be sure to set your week straight by listening below.
