Probably our favorite band from D.C., These United States are making a highly anticipated stop in Austin at Hole in the Wall on Friday night.  Joining the boys on stage are the Thrift Store Cowboys and recent Austin migrant Colling Herring.  You seriously won’t find a better band for your buck show on a Friday night in Austin.  See ya there!

These United States is a band that’s managed to get a crazy amount of coverage on this here website so you gotta know we’ll be posting every time they drop new music our way.  This new track “The Great Rivers” will appear on the groups upcoming LP What Lasts which hits stores July 20th.  I’m sure we’ll be picking up our copy of that one next month.

It’s a slow week in the Austin music scene, so you better catch on to the good shows while they’re here. These United States will bring their energetic pop tunes, which we’ve talked to you about before, to Austin this Tuesday night.  They’ll be taking the stage with local bands Zookeeper and Jesse Torrisi.  Everything about this show indicated a good time: you have good tunes from all bands and its only $8!  Sounds like you already have plans for this Tuesday night.

Said album is titled Everything Touches Everything, and we’ve got a tune for you to preview while you salivate the arrival of this album. This track is titled “I Want You to Keep Everything,” and I’ve been spinning it all afternoon long.  Buen proveche.
