Austin’s finest …And You Will Know us by Trail of Dead are playing a sure to be rowdy Waterloo in-store on Tuesday. Things are set to kick off around 5pm with all the free beer you can drink. The show coincides with the release of the band’s latest LP Century of Self, which we reviewed yesterday. For those of you who get annoyed with your favorite bands makin’ it big and not playing smaller venues anymore, Trail of Dead have a treat for you. The now veteran Austin band are planning to play at Red 7 this Friday along with friends Those Peabodys & Glorium. Now time for the bad news… Tickets for this surprise show are being sold only at the door so get in line early if you want to make it inside the small club. Doors are opening at 8pm. Austin’s most rock ready band, …And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead, will be playing a free instore at End of an Ear Records in Austin on Wednesday. The free show is set to kick off at 5pm 6pm. Don’t fret if you can’t get off work in time, Trail of Dead is also part of this weekend’s Fun Fest.
Before things really got started during Saturday’s ACL Festival events, we got together with Josh, Toto, and Yvonne of the Octopus Project at Austin Java to ask them a few questions about their band (including the upcoming Fun Fun Fun Fest).
