ATX Weekend Shows!!!

It’s a busy weekend, as it is in Austin when the weather is just perfect. So why not try to point you in the right direction in case you happened to wonder into town looking for a place to go! Just a real quick run down…and maybe a word or two to guide you.

Friday, April 26th:

The Infinites @ Waterloo – This one’s early, but this album is too good to miss live.

David Israel, L’Resorts and Being Dead @ Hotel Vegas – We’ve put out records by two of these incredible bands, so you know this is where we’re putting our money for Friday.

The Black Drumset @ Museum of Human Achievement – This group played one of our SXSW shows after releasing some great tunes, and we were blown away by the performance…word is, there might be two drummers!

Saturday, April 27th:

Hot Snakes, Mannequin Pussy @ Barracuda – I mean, who doesn’t want to watch Hot Snakes live. No one, that’s who.

101X Homegrown Live w/ Jackie Venson, Otis the Destroyer and Xetas @ Buffalo Billiars – Three great bands, all with slightly different sounds, and its FREE.

Daniel Francis Doyle, Hi Gene and Alex Riegelman/Friends @ Electric Church

Sunday, April 28th:

The Spits @ Beerland – Probably one of my favorite live acts; I might even go out on a Sunday.

The Well @ Waterloo Records – These rockers also have a release show on Saturday, but be sleepy and go catch them in the noon.
