Songwriter Kristoffer has been working in studios for years, but says a sort of recent moment of clarity led to some changes in his approach, and you can hear that paying dividends on this track. There’s an immediacy from the moment the guitars ring out upon pressing play; the track borders on an almost jangling routine, but then opens into this brooding warmth.
