The weather was beautiful in Austin on Saturday night and the setting was perfect for a much anticipated show by Seattle’s own Cave Singers. Though the crowd may have been a bit thin due to so many shows going on around town, it seemed like everyone in attendance agreed that the band killed it. Follow the jump for a few quick thoughts.

Saturday night is a great night for shows in Austin and it seems like you’ve got tons of options with all types of genres represented. Yes even the ATH crew will be split up all over town, but this guy will be heading over to Red 7 for a show by long time favorite of mine Cave Singers. Providing worthy support in an opening bid you’ll get Bleeding Rainbow. Maybe we’ll see each other there?[audio:https://austintownhall.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/02_Swim_Club_1.mp3]

With the rest of the ATH crew spread out at shows all over Austin, I stepped in to see Eternal Summers with Bleeding Rainbow and local favorites Rayon Beach Thursday night, which I was more than happy to do.
Read on for thoughts and a few pics from Brian Gray.

As if Thursday night couldn’t get any crazier for us folks here in Austin, here’s another show that should be on your radar if you’re not planning on attending the gig we’re sponsoring over at Red 7. Eternal Summers come to town fresh off the release of their latest, Correct Behavior, which is brimming with post-punk hooks and sing-a-long melodies. Their show is definitely going to be a bouncing good time, especially since they’re joined by Bleeding Rainbow, who are just about to release their own album, Yeah Right, in early 2013. Oh, and with local favorites Rayon Beach opening, you’re sure to get your money’s worth.[audio:https://austintownhall.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/03YouKill.mp3]
