Good Morning TV Share Entertainment

Originally created as a solo outlet for Berenice Deloire, Good Morning TV has now expanded into a full band, and we, the listeners, get the benefit of this expansion. We slide into the booth right next to Berenice, casually relaxing in the gentle pop waves and churning guitar lines. But, drawing nearer the two minute mark, the band starts to really come to life, awakening themselves and the listener by bursting in with this billowing noise that delivers this rewarding vibrancy. Then it all fades away, leaving us satiated but wanting more! We can get more when the band release Small Talk via Geographie Recs on June 18th.

New Jam from Entertainment

Sometimes with all the hype makings its way over the waves of the Atlantic, we don’t always get to hear about the hard working bands that deserve some love.  Luckily for you, I’m going to introduce you to Entertainment, a British band that recalls slight hints of Dinosaur Jr., but also more mainstream acts like Oasis.  Perhaps I’m way off on that, and hopefully the band doesn’t take it as a slight, but for me, the melding of those two sounds works perfectly here.  There’s anthemic vocals, but distorted cascading guitars that ring loudly in your earbuds.  Definitely a band worth your time today.

Fun Fest Lineup Is Here

We’ve all been waiting for today, and we’ve all been super hyped on the 2011 Fun Fun Fun Fest. Honestly, the leaks and the info today on turntable.fm all seemed a little heavy on the hip-hop/electro side of things for me.  But, now that the line-up is on its way, there are some great gems. I mean, my man crush Ted Leo will be there. I’m stoked on seeing Cloud Nothings and Radio Dept, so much so, that I’d go alone for all that. But, as Transmission always does a great job putting this together, everyone’s going to find their own genre/niche of bands to get excited for.  So, do yourself a favor, head over to the SITE, and see who your favorites will be. Then leave us a comment and let us know…maybe you can give us a heads up on what’s hip. Also, don’t forget tickets go on sale for the 3rd round today.  Label me officially stoked!
