New Electronica from Jon Hopkins
Musically, I’m going out on a limb here, but only because B. Gray is our usual electronic afficionado. But, that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy the work of Jon Hopkins. He first came to my attention a few years ago when he worked on Diamond Mine with King Creosote; I still play that album all the time. He’s got a new record coming out on Domino on June 4th titled Immunity, and it’s going to be a much appreciated piece by those in the know.
