I am admittedly a little late on this one as things have been quite crazy in my life and the music world has been on hold. Today I’m going to share a few songs as I get back in the game with this awesome track from longtime ATH favorite Radical Dads. As I just said, I’ve followed this band for while and this new tune does even more to promote my fandom. Check it out below and enjoy a lil bit of rock to improve your day.

Power Girl Rock From Dog Party

The ATH crew always gets a little excited when we’re sent music with female vocalists that know how to hold their own and rock. This new track, “Jet Pack”, by lady rocking sisters Dog Party is just that. It’s a raw punk rock song, but can also bring out some nice pop elements to make the track worthy of repeated spins.

New album Lost Control is due out August 13th on Asian Man Records.

New Rock n Roll From Heliotropes

Here’s a new rocking number called “Psalms” coming at us from all lady group Heliotropes. The quickest and easiest comparison I could make is that it sounds like The Men if the lead singer maybe had a sex change. Sound good? I think so. If you’r into it, the band have a brand new album entitled A Constant Sea coming out on June 18th via Manimal Vinyl.

Powerful Lady Rock From Cumulus

It’s clear that ATH loves the ladies of rock n roll and pop music. We tend to throw lots of coverage towards the genre and try to seek out artists that might be defined that way. This new artist Cumulus is an interesting new band that falls in the genre of lady rock with this tasty new song “Do You Remember”. It’s starts a little slow at the beginning, but once it kicks in with the rockin’ guitar riffs, it doesn’t let up till the very end. Stay tuned.

The band have a new album entitled I Never Meant It To Be Like This due out May 21st.
