Show Pics: Milagres/Peter Wolf Crier @ Lambert’s

It was an admittedly small show with a fairly unknown line up. But both bands have been featured here at Austin Town Hall, so we figured it was worth taking a look. Milagres and Peter Wolf Crier were in town and played Lambert’s. I figured a good Guinness pour and a barstool would do nicely the night before the TX/OU game. I met some people, heard some stories and listened to some music. Perfect.

Pics and a couple more notes from the show after the jump…

Show Preview: Peter Wolf Crier @ Lambert’s (10/7)

Date 10/7/11
Location Lambert’s
Doors 10pm
Tickets $10 @ Frontgate

Great show going down tomorrow night at Lambert’s featuring a dual headlining spot by Peter Wolf Crier and Milagres.  Both of these bands have been readily spotlighted on ATH over the years so we are obviously pumped for the show.  I’m not seeing any word about opening support so I’m not sure if you’ll get one of those or not.

More New Music From Milagres

After sharing new track “Glowing Mouth” a couple weeks ago, we have another new song from Milagres off their upcoming album.  This new song “Here to Stay” is another electro-pop jam that’s catchy enough for your summer pool party or your drive across the U.S.  As previously mentioned, the new album from Milagres Glowing Mouth will be available on September 13th from Kill Rock Stars.

New Song from Milagres

The hit making city has struck again! Brooklyn churns out more than its share of music, and Milagres is one of those bands that has slowly been on the rise; they’re ready to go beyond the city though.  They’ve just signed on with Kill Rock Stars who will be releasing their record, Glowing Mouth, at some point in September.  The first single, the album’s title track, has this electronic vibe to it, but what really grabs me, and hopefully you as well, is the way the vocals come across; they seem to be manipulated so carefully, showing perfect control in both pitch and tone.  I’ve just been replaying this all afternoon, so I figured you folks out there would enjoy it as well.
