New Music From Throw Me The Statue

throwThrow me the Statue is a band we fell in love with over the last year so we are of course excited to hear that the band are prepping a new LP for release later this summer.  First single from the album “Ancestors” was made available for download yesterday and could be another one of our famed songs of summer.  Creaturesque will be available in stores 8/4 via the Secretly Canadian label.

New Tunes from Throw Me the Statue

throwThrow Me the Statue is one of those bands that you’ll find difficult to define immediately. They’re part Sufjan, part elctronica and stirred in a pot by the Northwest. It’s an interesting recipe for some great tunes, which is reason enough to post a song off the band’s latest Purpleface EP, which is out now via Secretly Canadian.

Danielson

This just in from Secretly Canadian: Expect a whole slew of new things from Daniel Smith and his family band Danielson from here until the holidays.  To start the Danielson party off, we have “Animal in Every Corner” featuring a remix by Kramer.  The track will be found on a retrospective album highlighting the first decade of Mr. Smith’s work entitled Trying Hartz due out this fall.
