Teddy Glass Drop Ultra Violet

Friday’s are great for new music, and what’s better than new music from your friends? Well, here we are with an upbeat number from our friends over in Teddy Glass, which features Peter from Daphne Tunes and Josh from ATH alum Marmalakes. They’ve crafted this tune with a little spin on their sound, adding a more lively groove to Peter’s great guitar play; it almost has an R&B pop groove working through it, particularly when he stretches his voice to hit those high notes. If you’re in the mood for a nice little smooth pop jam to slide into that breakfast booth with ya, then look no further! They’ll be celebrating the release of his new single with a live performance on their Insta!

More Music from Teddy Glass

Nights and Weekends is out in just a few weeks, so we’ve got to continue to support our friends in Teddy Glass. They just dropped this new track, a mixture of soul and funky pop undertones; it has this wobbly synth/beat line that sort of keeps you unsettled in the best way. Of course, Peter holds down the vocal display, and interestingly, he’s almost got this fatherly tone to his voice this go-round…as if he’s passing on some sage advice your way. You know, just another Austin act making good on their promise to keep bringing hot tracks our way.

Funky Number from Teddy Glass

This Teddy Glass jam ran just the other day, and I’ve been busy, so I’m just now getting it up for your ears. The duo is the new project of Peter from Hello Wheels and Josh from our very own Marmalakes…so of course we’re going to let you jam it out. Of course Josh is going to lay down some moody rhythm section work, pumped up in the opening moments by some fuzzy guitar. That’s all before Peter settles in with a lighter guitar approach and his soulful bellow, eventually breaking into an almost animalistic growl, accented by a sweet backing vocal chorus. The two have completed their new album, Nights and Weekends, which they’ll drop on August 24th.
