Tegan & Sara On The Interface

tegansara_coverSuhweet.  Spinner’s the Interface hasn’t had too many bands recently that I care a lot about or at least not enough to tell you guys about.  That changed this week with an in studio performance by our favorite Quinn sisters Tegan & Sara.  The girls perform 4 songs all from their new album Sainthood which has been growing on me more and more with each listen.  Maybe these live videos will help you to decide if that big ticket cost for their show at Bass Concert Hall in February is really worth it.

Glasvegas On The Interface

We hereby promise to take a break from Glasvegas posts after today… we just couldn’t resist these awesome live videos.  You can watch a 4 song in studio of the Scottish band over on The Interface website.  The set features four of the best songs from the band’s self titled debut LP.

Deerhoof On The Interface

Some of you people out there still question our undying love for all things Deerhoof and we’re here to prove you fools wrong!  Check out some live stuff the band just did on The Interface and tell me you don’t love them.  Be sure to watch the jamming guitars on song “+81”.  You’ll be hooked soon enough!

If your looking for a little fun indie-pop music today, Raleigh band Annuals bring that and more to a recent performance on Spinner’s The Interface.  The live set features 4 tunes and a video interview as well.  Don’t forget that the band is also coming through town on Feb. 13th at The Parish.  Tickets are on sale now, but we’ll remind you about that closer to the date.

The Return Of Shearwater

After a brief tour with Coldplay, Shearwater will make their triumphant return to Austin this Thursday night at Mohawk (9/4).  Tickets for the show are only $8 with things starting off at 9pm.  Buy your tickets from the Transmission Entertainment website.  Instead of a song to preview the show, how about some live video of the band?  The Interface on Spinner AOL recently featured a short set by Shearwater on their website.  If anyone is interested in covering this show with pictures and/or a review, feel free to contact us (we get busy too).  We’ll hook you up with free stuff!
