Get A Little Heavy With Heaters

unnamed (2)Heaters is a Michigan based band I’ve written about a few times in the past right here on ATH. Though I’m one to certainly get a little inundated with all the psych rock music currently clouding the genre, I feel like Heaters bring a little something different to the table. The band is a bit heavier, give us some true quality guitar playing, and seem tighter than almost any other band of the genre. Try out their new single “Centennial” and let me know what you think.

Heaters will release their sophomore album Baptistina on August 5th via Beyond Beyond is Beyond Records.

heaters_credit_emily_jonkerIf you’re in the mood for some psych rock on your Monday, Michigan based Heaters should satisfy your desires.  Yes this new song “Propane” is a washed out, psychedelic rock number that can stand up to just about any song currently in the genre.  Hit play and see what I mean.

SXSW Interview: Heaters

HeatersI am ready for SXSW.  I think.  Whatever mindset you are in, tons of bands are about to descend on our town next week who are all ready and willing to take us by storm.  Today I’m pumped to share yet another festival oriented interview with you from Grand Rapids based Heaters.  Now these guys are dropping a new 7″ single on April 28th via Beyond Beyond is Beyond Records and you should most definitely pre-order it right now.  Follow the jump for full interview.
