Saturday: Slew of Shows

Yesterday we ran an update for all those who wanted to hit up music on Friday that didn’t include braving the darker side of things at Psych Fest, so today we’ll give you a heads up on the shows for Saturday, since there’s still lots going on.

Hex Dispensers @ Beerland – One of Austin’s greatest little bands. Always a must see!

Beans, Plasticity @ Emos – Electronic tunes? Sure, why not. Tickets = $8.

Chuck Ragan @ Red 7 – Former Hot Water Music front man doing his folk thing. One of the guys I can listen to again and again, and again.

The Decemberists, Other Lives @ Stubbs. Okay, this is Sold Out, but you know there will be scalpers. Be sure to get there early to see Other Lives, as they might actually be the better band.

Phunkavelli @ Scoot Inn – This is a little gangsta/funk dance party put on by the good folks over at KnuckleRumblr, and at one of our favorite spots.
