Got The Holiday Blues? So Does This Tune From Indian Lakes

From Indian Lakes is the project of Joey Vannucchi out of Yosemite California, making transcendent folk music, centered around his airy vocals. He’s shared with us this new seasonal inspired track, called “Bad Holiday,” which is a stunningly beautiful take on holiday music, and a nice treat away from the endless cycle of those same Christmas songs that you seem to hear over and over. While it is a little morose, it’s still a beautifully crafted song; the guitar and instrumentation are all very subtle and minimalist, while the vocals command center stage. Take a listen.
