Diet. are the next big thing to come out of the land down under–their surfy jangle sound is reminiscent of bands you should already love like The Drums or even our own Shivery Shakes.This track, “The Rip” does exactly what its title suggests in that the electric guitar cuts in sharp riffs through the mix. The vocals are what remind me of the The Drums, with their understated spunk and drama that bathe the whole tune with a retro sound.
