Pleased to Meet You: The Chrysalids (UK)
One of my favorite things about the holiday break is that I get a chance to listen to the advice of various friends around the world who often advise me on hits galore. For me, the Chrysalids have been on constant rotation, though the band hasn’t been together in quite some time. 2012 saw the group release a retrospective album titled Neither Love Nor Money via Pronoia Records. This hits right at the heart of my adoration for jangling pop, coinciding with great harmonies and bits of indie pop.
