Indie Rock With Blues Roots From Marrow

Marrow are a four piece from Chicago who have recently been branching beyond their hometown and gaining traction in the indie-sphere. When you listen to this song, “The Gold Standard,” you’ll see why that is. The band begins with the delicate dual male/female vocals and some meandering guitar, and then brings up the energy for a track that is half simmering indie rock and then all out alternative jam with folksy/bluesy roots.
