Digging This Thrash Pop From Swim Team

The folks over at Infinity Cat Recordingsare doing a cassette series, releasing albums on limited runs of cassette tapes and the newest edition to this series is Swim Team. This band hails out of Cincinnati, but they’ve got enough edge and grit to really make you think otherwise. This new single, “Dirty Work,” is thrash pop at its finest, but the band doesn’t just stop at that. Sure they’ve got the punk vocals, grit-covered guitar riffs and intense lyrics, but they also switch up the lead in the vocals in the middle for a section, making their sound somehow more dramatic. Make sure you acquaint yourself with these guys and pick up one of those very limited lime green cassetteson March 4th.
