Friday Smorgasbord of Shows
We already know how great Psych Fest is going to be, but we also realize that it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. Luckily for us all, there’s a ton of shows going on this weekend for you to catch, so we drew out some of our highlights. There’s several strong local shows featuring friends TV Torso and Great Nostalgic, and some punk rock to boot. Read more for a nice list, and some songs.
High Tension Wires, Fleshlights, etc. @ Red 7 — Punk rock show featuring members of the Riverboat Gamblers!
Grape Street (members of Harlem), German Measles @ Beerland — More Punk Rock. German Measles are on our fave new label, KrazyPunx!
White Rabbits, TV Torso, Sour Notes @ Emos- Great live bands all around–love the locals. Tickets $13.
Great Nostalgic, Marmalakes, Golden Bear @ Mohawk – 101x Homegrown Live. Only $5!
Scott Reynolds and the Steamin Beast @ Patsy’s Cafe – Dude, it’s Scott from ALL!
Blue October @ The Moody Theater — Heard these guys were a big deal.
