You know we love Ablebody, in fact, I’m pretty sure we’ve been covering the band for some time, even before we started hyping their new release, Adult Contemporaries. Today, that album is released into the world via Lolipop, so why not offer up another one of the album’s excellent tunes for you to absorb today. You’ll find yourself transported back to the times when R&B began to clash with electronic elements, using twinkling synths and riffs to accent each note of the crooned vocals. New Ablebody Video ft. Sean Nicholas Savge

We’re a few weeks away from the release of Ablebody‘s full-length release, Adult Contemporaries, and the band have offered up this new video for their latest single. This is the sort of dreamy pop I’ve come to expect from the band, with the video seemingly matching the album’s contemporary adult motif. There’s a softness to this track, which walks that fine line between indiepop and soulful R&B, which is probably owed to the beautiful touch of Sean Nicholas Savage‘s vocals. Look to get your hands on their new LP via Lolipop on October 14th.

Another Day, Another Hit from Ablebody

The Hochheim brothers have honed their chops for quite some time, be it in their own projects or working in PoBPaH, so you know they’ve got the songwriting capabilities to make their latest band, Ablebody, a winner. I love the sound on the newest single, feeling vital to the current musical landscape while taking a lick or two from the darkened club hits of the 80s. Plus, it’s accompanied by a great video that you can check out HERE. The band will be releasing their debut full length, Adult Contemporaries, via Lolipop Records on October 14th.

Good to Hear Ablebody Back

Through various years of running this site, we’ve been fortunate to meet some great people, including the Hochheim twins. They just put up a new video for their Ablebody project, with the news that the song will be part of Adult Contemporaries, the band’s first LP. This song’s got those sharp guitar stabs that us indiepop fans adore, cool airy vocals and a light-hearted energy, immediately getting in my daily music rotation.
