Dark post-punk notes open up the most recent single from the Death of the Internet, instantly thrusting me into this realm of dingy clubs with dark lighting and fog machines filling in cavernous dance floors. But, the trick on the production is pulling back from the grinding groove, offering up a nice little seductive vocal that softens the structure. In some weird way, there’s this animalistic nature too, like we’re going on some wintry hunt through Scandinavian woods, chasing our prey as the beat stomps on. Really excited to see what more is coming, as the project has been on a roll as of late!
