More New Music From Broken Records

Broken Records are gearing up to release their new LP Let Me Come Home on 4AD Records next week.  Leading up to the release, the band has a few surprises in store.  First up is new single “You Know You’re Not Dead” found below for downloading and streaming.  Even more enticing, you can stream the entire new album prior to next week over on MOG.  Last but not least, the band recently recorded a 4AD live session featuring some of the tunes from their new album.  Muchas gracias Broken Records.

New Music From Broken Records

Broken Records are a Scottish band that have been on our radar for awhile, so imagine or excitement when reading today that a new record is soon to hit stores.  New album Let Me Come Home will be released October 25th on 4AD Records.  Latest single “A Leaving Song” from the upcoming record can be had for your enjoyment below.  We’ll be one of the many saying this record will be a good one.

Kick Off St. Patty’s Day With Broken Records

As tomorrow is St. Patrick’s Day and I like to pretend that I’m part Irish, let’s celebrate with a new digital single from Scots Broken Records.  This track, “Lies”, actually appeared on a single a few years ago, but has just now been made available for free online.  You’ll find that it fits right in with the themes of tomorrow’s heralded day.  If you dig, you could also check them out on Wednesday at one of the following free SXSW parties:

32242jpegNot too sure if we’re late getting on the bandwagon for Edinburgh band Broken Records, but you can consider us fully aboard the fan train.  Sounds and influences seem to draw heavily from fellow Scottish indie bands like Frightened Rabbit with a more native Celtic sound. Forming in the land of Scots back in 2006, the band is set to release a debut full length album Until the Earth Begins to Part on June 1st via the famous 4AD record label.
