I had grown worried that the ecclectic catalog of artists on Eardrums Pop might not ever get another chance at things, until I checked in the other day. They’ve posted their first new three song release since May, and it’s definitely worthy of some ear time. The band is Dutch Barn, and they combine elements of indiepop and shoegaze to craft these great tunes that sink into your soul. Remember, EP does this all out of love for music, and love for the bands, so if you can afford to donate a penny or two, do so; it will make our music community continue to grow.

Pure Pop from Lost Tapes

Two things are great about the following track. One, it comes from the Spanish duo, Lost Tapes, who’ve managed to craft some really outstanding pop songs, which I will never tire of hearing. Two, it’s the latest release from Eardrums Pop, one of the great small labels doing their best to promote great music across the globe. I like the bouncing rhythm of the drums, and the gliding feel of the vocals. New Indie Pop from Sleeping Policemen

As a person working on getting my own label up and running, I always admire the DIY efforts, especially for small groups like Eardrumspop. The label has just uploaded their newest single, featuring several gems from German group, Sleeping Policemen. For me, the big hit of the single is “First Things First,” where the vocals go back and forth between the male and female vocalists, crafting this quick gem that I’ve been jamming to all afternoon. I have a feeling you indie pop fans are going to scramble to grab this single…but remember to support the artists who’ve crafted such great songs.
