Spin This New Sighs Track
Feel like indie rock has gotten stale as of late, so it’s great to see that there are some things I find wholly entertaining in the larger scale of music fandom. The opening moments from this Sighs track sound like soft pop, and those moments alone piqued my interest. But, the song was elevated with stabs of horns and synth washes to give it a little push above the ordinary fare. It’s nice to find something that’s still somewhat left of the dial, no matter how much it might wear the influences of contemporaries. Look for the new Friends EP on September 13th.
