We’re barely removed from Icarus Phoenix latest release, I Should Have Known the Things You Never Said, and it seems like there were just too many ideas for Drew Danbury and company to cram into that LP, as “Homeostasis” is a playful little number that didn’t quite make the cut, or perhaps is meant for a story down the line. It’s a short number, but there’s almost a natural hop to the construction, letting Drew swing his vocals up and down through the tune, sort of like he’s spinning you and serenading you right in the middle of your living room. There’s a nice little acoustic version accompanying this new single, as we get a peek inside where the story began.
