Levitation 2025 in Photos: Sunday

As I get ready to head out and photograph another three day festival weekend, we have another gallery from Levitation 2025.

It is big gallery, we had some photogenic sets that included smashed guitars, Austin legends and legendary indie. Bands featuring in the gallery – Daiistar, Population II, A Place to Bury Strangers (I got dizzy from the strobes, rad), Diles No Me Maten, Frankie and the Witch Fingers (really tight set), Upchuck, The Black Angels (thanks for the Reverb), Being Dead (always clever fun), Built to Spill, Destroyer (smooth) and Pavement (legends). It was a lot to take in.

Click through, it is a big one…

Levitation 2025 in Photos: Saturday

Next batch of images from Levitation 2025 are ready for your consumption. Saturday was more of a blend of genres; from legacy shoegaze to new acts causing the buzz to Indie all-stars, there was a little something for everyone. We had a dance party or two and definitely took in some seriously good songs along the way.

Click through, we have HooverIII (just a crowd grab, but sounded great), Yin Yin, Wednesday (buzz), Model Actriz (blistering set), Blonde Redhead, Swervedriver, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Raveonettes, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, La Femme and TV on the Radio (and whoaholyshit they were good).

Levitation has a new home. The Palmer Events Center played host to create a focal point for the line up that spanned prog-metal to shoegaze to slacker indie. Today’s gallery will feature some snaps from around the grounds for the heaviest day for the lineup.

On the bill – Rickshaw Billie’s Burger Patrol, The Sword, Secret Chiefs, Acid Bath, The Armed, Mastodon

Levitation 2025 Tickets

Hey all, quick reminder that we are getting down to the wire for Levitation 2025 tickets. In fact, if you want to sample the posh life, there are a few Deluxe passes for Friday that were just released. I mean, it’s fancy – express entry, private bar, lounge, elevated stage viewing. Treat yourself, right?

TGIF.

People are definitely down to see how this new venue and layout will work. Big opportunity to create a new home for the festival going forward that is still bolstered by a really solid schedule of pre-fest and aftershow around Red River. I got to see TVOTR at Kilby Block Party, best set I’ve seen from them ever, so looking forward to how a very differnt vibe that the team at Levitation provides will stack up.

Levitation 2025 Schedule

The team over at Levitation has shared a few updates for the 2025 version of the fest taking place at the Palmer Events center. New location for this year, we are getting pretty amped. Levitation 2025 Is Here

If I’m being honest, Levitation might have outdone themselves this year, and with that, you better get your hands on tickets, as this one might be selling out. I mean, Pavement, Mastodon and TV on the Radio are the headliners…and that’s just getting the bill started. There are acts like Built to Spill and Brian Jonestown Massacre and UMO next on the poster. But, there is some new things rolling out; they’re changing their downtown home and returning a proper festival to Palmer Events Center…right near the grounds of the legendary Fun Fun Fun Fest, so we’ll be interested to see how it all lines up. Check out information and tickets HERE.
