It’s that time of year when a lot of the musical white noise gets in the way, but I’m trying to keep you safe and bring you tunes you might not have gotten into yet, like this jam from Canalss. The tune itself is from the band’s last album, Done Sleeping, but as music is meant to last forever, you get to revisit via this video. It’s the sort of music that will likely see names like David Berman or Daniel Johnston used in comparison, but really, there’s more of an outsider playfulness that I adore.
