Another Altai Track
At this point, we’ve almost heard the entirety of the debut LP from Aussie act Altai, but when you hear this new single, you won’t mind getting another peek under the covers. When it opened, I could certainly hear a little throw-back, those punctuated riffs feel very 80s in their sentiment. But, what I love about this track is the way it begins to twist and turn, changing before you even notice its movement. By the time the drama drops in via the synth lines at the 1 minute mark you’ve already given your soul over to the track, and when it sweeps you away, you’re all the better for it. Back and forth and back into beautiful textured pop with a smoky vocal that should have All At Once on your radar; it drops on October 10th.
