Annabelle Chairlegs Share Final Glimpse at Waking Up
We’ve had our eyes on the new Annabelle Chairlegs for some time, continuously impressed with Lindsey Mackin’s growth as a songwriter. Our last look into the new Waking Up has her harnessing her garage rock sensibilities, but offering it up through a bit of a more blues-based lens. Mix that in with the midtrack breakdown where Mackin brings in a bit more of a pop vocal performance, hinting that the new record is bound to cover lots of musical territory, albeit with the bravado the band’s brandished through the years.
