I meant to get this new Semiwestern track up last week; it was released on Friday, brandishing a very particular brand of Texas slowcore. When I listened, I was struck by how lonesome the song felt; it feels like you’ve been sort of isolated or suspended in space, yet your not quite complaining. As I spent more time, the details surrounding the core give the song this cavernous feel behind, still making you feel small, albeit part of something larger. That’s the thing that keeps me coming back here, its like you get to soak in your solitude, take a bit of respite from all that’s around you. Feel free to get lost inside this one, coming to you courtesy of Spirit Goth.
