New on the Melbourne scene is super rad quintet, Season 2; they’ve signed up to release their debut with powerhouse (and ATH fave) labels Upset the Rhythm and Spoilsport Records. We’ve already heard on of the lead singles, and here they are twisting right back with this infectious ditty. There’s a natural bounce to this tune, and its immediacy will have you tapping your toes and shimmying those shoulders as you get to work today. I love the interplay between the various vocalists, pulled off without losing an ounce of speed or emotion; they get a 10 out of 10 on vocal execution! Mid track, the guitar begins to cascade and wiggle looping us right back to the sugary sweetness that sits at the tune’s core. In the end, the video shows a joyous outfit having fun sharing their energy with you, and you can’t ask for more. Well, you can if you grab the Power of Now, out on April 24th.
