Remington Super 60 Return with Time to Breathe
It’s been a hot minute since we last heard from Remington Super 60, but the Norwegian outfit returns with a slight sonic shift. They open this new single with a heavy pulse beneath, almost club-oriented in its bass vibe, punching the cones on your speakers. While the groove is an omni-present feel throughout the tune, they twist the chorus into a shimmering bit of modern disco; it’s got hints of indiepop true to the band’s groove, but that pulse behind lets the song move into some classic territory. It’s a nice twist that wouldn’t seem out of place as the B-Side to “Heart of Glass.”
