Even More New Music From LA Font

LA-FONT-4Our local friends Fleeting Youth Records continue to put out some really great music from a slew of promising young bands.   One of those bands full of promise is L.A. based pop rock group L.A. Font.  Now we already shared new song “Whisperer” just a few weeks ago and today I’m excited to be sharing with you a second new joint called “Outside”.  One again, the band gives us a rock n rollin number that no one could deny is a stellar tune.

nomonsterclubWe ATH kids love us some No Monster Club and I was happy, yet also sad at my tardiness, when I found out that the band just dropped a new album.  So apologies for my brain fart out of the way, let us enjoy this new track and video from the band called “I’ve Retired”.  As expected, the band delivers with an awesome, fuzzy, and catchy rock number that no one can say no to.  Follow the jump for video and album deets.

Criminal Hygiene Wow Us Again

Criminal HygieneCome on now, unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last few years, you’re aware of our love affair with all things Criminal Hygiene.  These guys have been pleasing our ears since we first heard their music and we try to do all we can to spread the good word about quality sounds.  With all that out of the way, the boys just sent us this lovely new track called “Turpentine”.  What starts as a poppy sort of rock tune yields its way to yet another raucous and guitar laden track from a rowdy rock band.  It just keeps getting better and better.  If you don’t know, get wise fool.

Have Some Fun with The Dead Ships

thedeadships_songpremiere1When you hear a quality rock song like this one from L.A. based The Dead Ships, you just want to share it with as many people as you can.  The song is called “Canyons” and features some great moments of pop music intermixed with rising crescendos and irresistible melodies.  Stay tuned for more as the band are currently working a new EP for next year produced by Broken Social Scene’s Brendan Canning.  You know it’s going to be good.

Austin Spotlight: Small Circles

10516600_577338272388271_5118767778977189528_nHere’s a fun little diddy from Austin based band Small Circles.  The track is called “Maybe in the Long Run” and features a catchy vocal delivery with a pop/rock vibe sound.  Though I knew nothing about the band prior to today, I’m already digging this more than a lot of the popular music currently coming out of Austin.  Keep it up boys.

Little Big League

Little Big League bandWhile browsing through the internet today I came across this great track called “Tropical Jinx” from Philadelphia based band Little Big League.  It’s part rocker, part pop music with some female vocals coming in to add a bit of an edge.  This one has all things good.

New Track From Meatbodies

799Los Angeles based rock band Meatbodies are sharing an incredible track with us today called “Tremmors” and it’s one of those that’s just too good to not share with everyone else.  At its core, the song is a psych rock rocker with some incredible guitar riffs sprinkled in and some mesmerizing vocals from lead singer Chad Ubovich.  This is rock music at its finest ladies and gents.

Pick up the new self-titled full length LP from these guys on October 14th via In the Red Records.
