New Track From Cosmicide

artworks-000061460986-u50v1n-t500x500Here’s an interesting new track called “Talos’ Corpse” coming your way from upstarts Cosmicide.  The band, started last year by Secret Machines member Brandon Curtis, have evolved to create this sort of electronica-pop sound with this shade of darkness bubbling up throughout their songs.  It creates some special moments that I hope you’ll enjoy on this teaser song.

No word yet on a full length LP, but the band plan on touring for the first time very soon.

Secret Machines @ Emo’s (9/30)

Date 9/30/09
Location Emos
Doors 9pm
Tickets $15 from Ticketweb

So maybe The Secret Machines have fallen a bit on hard times with the critics, but does that mean they can’t bring the house down with a live show anymore?  I think not.  Head over to Emo’s on Wednesday night for one of these face melting shows from this once time Dallas based band.  Openers will be Ringo Deathstarr and Imaad Wasif.

New Secret Machines

The nice people over at RCRD LBL have a new song from Dallas band Secret Machines for you to stream/download on their website. The song is called “Dreaming of Dreaming” and will apparently NOT appear on the bands latest self-titled release due out in October. You can hear the song exclusively on the RCRD LBL website (they strongly discourage re-hosting songs). Is this better than the very underwhelming 2006 effort Ten Silver Drops?
